Silvia Malagón advises companies, brokerage firms, and financial entities on corporate law related to capital markets and mutual and pension funds. She has participated in the establishment of Mexican affiliates of international fund managers and mutual funds and counsels on listing financial entities on the Mexican Stock Exchange.

Silvia recently advised a subsidiary of Banca Privada d'Andorra, S.A. in the purchase of a Mexican referral distributor and its subsequent conversion into an affiliate of the foreign financial entity. Her experience also includes the conversion of an asset management company into a referral distributor, the incorporation and operation of mutual funds for Franklin Templeton, several mutual fund mergers, as well as other transactions related to the Investment Company's Law (Ley de Sociedades de Inversión). Silvia also advises companies regarding compliance with the National Banking and Securities Commission (Comision Nacional Bancaria y de Valores).

Silvia is a member of the board of directors of several mutual funds and asset management companies in Mexico. She has lectured at the Universidad Iberoamericana and is a current member of Barra Mexicana Colegio de Abogados A.C.
