Jones Day Mexico City opened in January 2009 through the Firm's integration with the prestigious Mexico City law firm previously known as De Ovando & Martinez del Campo, S.C. The Mexico City Office currently consists of 25 lawyers who provide services to domestic and international clients doing business in Mexico and throughout the world.

Our Mexico City lawyers focus principally on transactional matters, with attorneys practicing in Mergers & Acquisitions, Banking & Finance, Antitrust & Competition, Capital Markets, Energy, Real Estate, Labor & Employment, Tax, Global Infrastructure & Project Finance, and International Litigation & Arbitration. As the first Jones Day office to open in Latin America, the Mexico City Office plays a critical role in the Firm's Latin America Practice. Our Mexico City attorneys work closely with colleagues in São Paulo, Madrid, New York, Atlanta, Dallas, and Houston, and as well as with lawyers in our other offices in the U.S., Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East in connection with matters in Mexico and throughout the region. The Office is actively involved in supporting microfinance for low income families and other non-profit organizations, including Un Kilo de Ayuda, the largest program devoted to fighting malnutrition among Mexican children under five years of age.
