Ashish Mahendru started practice as a litigation attorney in 1996 at Davis & Wilkerson in Austin, Texas where he was the highest performing associate. In 1999, he joined Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons in Austin, Texas. In 2000, he joined Lucash, Gesmer & Updegrove, a boutique law firm in Boston, Massachusetts handling high technology clients. In 2001, he started his own law practice in Houston. Throughout this time, Ashish Mahendru's experience was centered on complex litigation.

• Representation of an academic professor in a charge of copyright infringement

• Representation of a client in a breach of contract matter with the general contractor withholding payment to Mr. Mahendru's client
• Representation of an injured driver against his insurance company for an underinsured motorist claim
