THE DESIRE TO WIN
Ashish Mahendru wants to win because he is a trial attorney, not a discovery litigator.
Mr. Mahendru also wants to win because he shares the risk with his clients. If the client and Mr. Mahendru agree, Mr. Mahendru will work on a contingency-fee basis so that his time and efforts pay off only when the client and Mr. Mahendru win. Mr. Mahendru's interests are aligned with his clients-he wants to achieve a successful outcome at the lowest possible cost.
Mr. Mahendru knows from experience what motivates both plaintiffs and defendants. This dual perspective molds not just his trial tactics, but also his approach to settlement negotiations and mediation presentations. Mr. Mahendru wins because he understands his opponent's case as well as his own.
