Richard J. Mockler, P.A. is a Tampa, Florida law firm practicing in the areas of Marital & Family Law and Civil Litigation.  We endeavor to treat every client with dignity and respect.

The Firm's attorneys are focused on family law cases, including matters involving divorce, alimony, child support, child custody, visitation, paternity, and relocation.  

Prior to founding the Firm, Mr. Mockler worked at some of the nation's most prestigious law firms, where he gained substantial experience representing public and private companies, executives, officers, and directors in significant, high-stakes matters.  That experience spans several areas of substantive law, including cases involving allegations of fraud, negligent misrepresentation, breach of fiduciary duty, deceptive and unfair trade practices, civil theft, conspiracy, and RICO.  Mr. Mockler has also litigated many cutting edge intellectual property disputes, including cases involving theft of trade secrets, computer fraud and abuse, unfair competition, and patent, trademark, and copyright infringment.

Mr. Mockler has also worked in state and federal court a variety of complex disputes, including numerous class actions, shareholder derivative actions, multidistrict litigations, and mass tort cases.  In connection with these cases, he has also frequently worked on internal investigations, and on the defense of investigations conducted by the Securities and Exchange Commission, Department of Justice, U.S. Attorney's office, Florida Attorney General, and other government entities.

Mr. Mockler has been involved in several matters that received national media attention, including a number of cases with more than $100 million dollars at stake.
