PERSONAL INFORMATION:
Joe grew up in rural northwestern Iowa in a small farming community, the oldest of four children. After graduating from college, he married his college sweetheart and moved to North Carolina before attending law school in Virginia and finally returning to the Triad to establish his roots and to begin his life-long dream of practicing law.
Married and the proud parent of two boys, Joe is an active member of Winston-Salem First Assembly of God, and when he's not playing "superheroes" with his boys, he enjoys sharing his cooking with his family, hunting, and he always has a home improvement project to work on.
