Laura Marquez-Garrett is a litigation associate in the Seattle office of Foster Pepper. Prior to moving to Seattle in 2006, Laura practiced out of the San Francisco office of Thelen Reid Brown Raysman & Steiner. She has more than five years experience in complex, commercial litigation, including significant class action defense, construction and government contracts, antitrust, white collar crime litigation, and bankruptcy experience at both the state and federal levels.

Laura represents clients in complex commercial litigation disputes and regulatory inquiries. Her practice focuses primarily in the area of financial institutions, including the representation of banks, asset based lenders, and mortgage companies in complex litigation brought under the Truth in Lending Act, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Fair Housing Act, and related state laws including the Washington Mortgage Broker Practices Act and Consumer Protection Act. She also represents individuals and corporations in white collar crime litigation.
