Anne Harlan is an Associate in the Jackson office and a member of the Labor & Employment and Litigation sections.  Her practice focuses on defending employers from various employment claims, as well as providing advice and guidance to employers.  Anne Harlan has successfully handled numerous EEOC charges.  She was also involved in defending and settling an FLSA donning and doffing collective action with over 2,000 plaintiffs.  Anne Harlan has defended employers from claims of sexual harassment, racial harassment, wrongful termination, defamation, and unequal pay. 

In addition to her labor and employment work, she has also done some general litigation work.  Anne Harlan has worked on eminent domain and products liability cases in the natural gas industry.  She also successfully tried a case involving a dispute between a county and a public entity.
