Lawyer Overview

Matteo has extensive experience assisting Italian and international clients in domestic and cross-border real estate transactions and in setting up real estate joint ventures. Matteo is regularly involved in the purchase, sale, development, and letting of retail, industrial, commercial, and hospitality and leisure-related assets, going concerns, and real estate companies as well as in transactions involving the contribution of assets into real estate funds. Matteo also advises clients in the negotiation of property management, construction, engineering, design, and service procurement agreements relating to project finance transactions.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Matteo was a partner with DLA Piper. Previous to that he worked for Chiomenti Studio Legale, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, and in-house at Foruminvest.
