With over 12 years of experience, Michael Haag serves in a General Counsel capacity and/or a contracted Executive Director capacity for clients ranging from startups to established organizations - including a significant practice in representing nonprofit organizations and Christian faith-based ministry and church clients. Mr. Haag has extensive tax and public accounting background including a clerkship in the legal division of the Minnesota Department of Revenue, and several years as a Tax Associate for Arthur Andersen, LLP.

Mr. Haag is an Adjunct Professor for the Hamline University Graduate School of Business, where he teaches the Law of Nonprofits. He also teaches Urban Economics and Nonprofit Management for an undergraduate college program called U4C in Minneapolis, and he serves on the board of several nonprofit organizations. Mr. Haag is a regular speaker and published author on nonprofit, corporate and tax issues.

He is licensed to practice in the State of Minnesota, and is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association. From 1999-2004, he served as Chair of the Ramsey County Bar Association Section on Taxation.

Mr. Haag earned his Law Degree from Hamline University School of Law, and his Masters Degree in Public Administration and Policy from the Hamline University Graduate School of Management.
