Lawyer Overview

Brendan's practice is concentrated in the areas of energy projects and corporate finance. He has particular experience in the oil, gas, and minerals sectors, including advising and negotiating acquisitions and disposals of assets/equity interests, project financing, general corporate financing, and general corporate and commercial law issues. In addition, Brendan has experience advising clients on a wide range of operational agreements, including joint ventures, farm ins/farm outs, refining, gas sales, and joint operating agreements.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2008, Brendan worked as a lawyer in the Perth office of Allens Arthur Robinson, one of Australia's leading law firms. During that time, he was seconded to a major resources client as in-house legal counsel.
