Lawyer Overview

Dr. Ralf Ek advises listed corporations in all relevant questions of corporate and securities law, with a focus on corporate governance. His practice is focused on the organization of annual shareholders' meetings and prevention strategies relating to liabilities of management and supervisory boards. He also advises on mergers and acquisitions, including cross-border transactions.

Ralf is admitted to practice both in Germany and Sweden. For many years, he has advised Nordic companies doing business in Germany, particularly with respect to corporate and transactional matters.

Ralf is a member of the International Bar Association, the German-Nordic Lawyers Association, the Scientific Association for Company and Corporate Law (VGR), the Business Association Rhine Main, and Alumni Freiburg (vice president of Frankfurt Branch). Ralf has published many books and articles, and is a frequent speaker, on topics relating to M&A and corporate governance.
