Dr. Ralf Ek advises listed corporations in all relevant questions of corporate and securities law. His practice is focused on the organization of annual shareholders' meetings, on prevention strategies relating to liabilities of management and supervisory boards, and on corporate governance issues. He also advises on mergers and acquisitions and public takeovers, including cross-border transactions, with a special focus on investments of Nordic, particularly Swedish, companies in Germany.

Ralf recently assisted Deutsche Hypothekenbank, Deutsche Real Estate, Eos Partners, Herlitz, PEH Wertpapier, Premiere Conferencing, Resinall, Sherwin-Williams, and Timken regarding corporate and securities law issues in acquisitions and joint ventures.

He is a member of the International Bar Association, the German-Nordic Lawyers Association, the Scientific Association for Company and Corporate Law (VGR), the Business Association Rhine Main, and Alumni Freiburg (vice president of Frankfurt Branch). He is listed in the publication Best Lawyers in corporate and M&A. Ralf has published many books and articles and is a frequent speaker on topics relating to M&A and corporate governance.
