I am a sole practitioner associated with the well-established law firm of Stein, Moore, Egerton and Weidman, L.L.P. We are located just across from the courthouse in the heart of Iowa City, and I practice regularly throughout Eastern Iowa in Johnson, Washington, Cedar, Iowa, Linn, and Louisa Counties. My goal is to provide my clients with the highest quality legal services in a friendly, low-key manner.

I have been practicing in the Iowa City area since 2000. I still consider myself to be a general practitioner, as my focus is on getting to know my clients and setting up ongoing relationships with them. That way I can provide a wide variety of legal services as the need arises based on my knowledge of their background and circumstances.

I have found that, over time, my practice has concentrated more and more on family law (divorces, child support, custody, and the like), criminal law, and juvenile law as I gain more expertise in these areas. The good thing is that I am associated with four fine, experienced, attorneys who practice in a broad range of areas. So if I cannot provide the legal services you need myself, I am sure to be able to refer you with confidence to someone who does.
