Attorney Susan Blanco is a Colorado native, born and raised in Larimer County. Susan is a former Larimer County Prosecutor and prosecuted matters involving adults and juveniles. She has worked as an adjunct professor teaching paralegal studies in Larimer County and has guest lectured at Colorado State University.

Susan is a Colorado State University alumni as well as a graduate of the University of Colorado Law School. During her time at Colorado State University Susan was on scholarships for Performing Arts, Psychology and Leadership. She was the 2000 Colorado State University PaceSetter. She earned numerous honors nationally for debate and eventually received scholarship to University of Colorado Law School. Susan earned a Juris Doctorate from University of Colorado and during her time there was a member of the University's Trial Team and won the Carrigan Cup. She competed nationally for the trial team. Based on her foundation as an intern at the Public Defenders Office and her time serving on two Legal Aid Defense Clinics, Susan pursued a career in Criminal Law and began as an intern with the District Attorneys Office. She stayed with the District Attorneys Office and sharpened her knowledge and trial skills. She has extensive experience as a trial attorney and litigator.

Susan has a passion for working with juveniles. When she is not acting as a criminal defense attorney, she is often called upon to serve as a Guardian At Litum and help determine what is in the best interest of children. She is one of a handful of local attorneys who specialize in juvenile work.

She is very dedicated and committed to her clients and also brings a great degree of compassion and understanding to her practice. Susan was born and raised in Larimer County and is currently raising her own family in Larimer County.
