For more than 25 years, our Middle East practice has worked in the region with clients involved in in-bound and out-bound transactions concerning the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Europe, and North America. We have a deep bench of lawyers with extensive, practical experience guiding how our corporate and government clients are structured and operate. One of our partners played a leading role in drafting the Exon-Florio amendment in 1988, while serving as Deputy General Counsel of the U.S. Treasury Department, and is ranked as a "CFIUS Expert" by Chambers USA. Our ranks also include the former U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Under Secretary for Policy who coordinated the policy activities of the DOT from 2002 to early 2008, and in that capacity, worked with airlines and other companies throughout the transport sector as well as governments around the world.
