Lawyer Overview
Francesco Squerzoni has extensive experience advising Italian clients in multijurisdictional transactions and international clients in the Italian market. He has advised lenders and borrowers in investment and development projects in acquisition and real estate financings. He also has worked for originators, arrangers, and investors in structured finance transactions, including public and private securitizations, domestic and multijurisdictional trade finance, and acquisitions of nonperforming loan portfolios. In addition, his experience includes project finance matters, particularly in relation to hospitals and highway projects, and debt restructurings.
Francesco has advised Calyon, Goldman Sachs, and Unicredit in real estate development and investment transactions; Interbanca and MPS (Monte Paschi Siena) Capital Services in leveraged and acquisition financings; Deutsche Bank and Dresdner in structured financings; and H3G, SNS Property Finance, and Unicredit in project finance matters.
