Lawyer Overview
Robert Klee is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department, a member of the Climate Change and Sustainable Development practice group, and is located in the New Haven office. He joined the firm in 2008.
Prior to joining Wiggin and Dana, Robert served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Barrington D. Parker of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and to the Honorable Mark R. Kravitz of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.
Robert received his J.D. from Yale Law School. He also received his Ph.D. in Environmental Science and his Masters in Industrial Environmental Management from the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies. He received his B.A. in Geology and Environmental Studies, magna cum laude, from Princeton University.
Robert has published a number of articles on environmental law and policy, sustainability, and industrial ecology, including: What’s Good for School Finance Should be Good for Environmental Justice: Addressing Disparate Environmental Impacts Using State Courts and Constitutions, 30 Colum. J. Envtl. L. 135 (2005); Enabling Environmental Sustainability in the United States: The Case for a Material Flow Inventory, 23 Stan. Envtl. L.J. 131 (2004); Getting Serious About Sustainability, 36 Envtl. Sci. & Tech. 523 (2002); and Zero Waste System in Paradise, 40 Biocycle 66 (1999).
