Erin R. Murphy is an attorney in the firm’s Bloomfield Hills office and a member of Plunkett Cooney's Construction Law Practice Group. She focuses her practice in the areas of construction law, architects and engineers’ liability, foodservice and hospitality law, appellate law and general liability.

Ms. Murphy assists clients in a variety of construction law cases, including those that involve insurance/indemnity issues and construction defect claims.

In addition, she has represented numerous companies in the foodservice and hospitality industry, successfully defending matters involving claims of wrongful termination, personal injury and dramshop/liquor liability. Prior to graduating from law school, she worked in the hospitality, foodservice and beverage industries for over 12 years, holding a several positions ranging from waitstaff to banquet event coordinator. Ms. Murphy’s experience provides her with a unique understanding of the industry, which allows her to better serve her clients.
