Mr. Flounlacker is a former Marine Corps Sergeant and Marine of The Year. After leaving the Marines, he got his Law Degree from Stetson University College of Law in 1993. Seven years of his practice was spent with the Department of Children and Families Services (DCF). At DCF he worked as Child Welfare Legal Services Managing Attorney. He also worked in DCF's General Counsel's Office and with the department's Office of Inspector General. His last four years with DCF was spent as the Agency Clerk. As Agency Clerk, Mr. Flounlacker drafted all of the Department's Final Orders and was responsible for providing direction and advice statewide to DCF attorneys on Administrative Law issues. Upon entering private practice, Mr. Flounlacker has focused in the area of real estate law. He is licensed as a Realtor in Florida and Alabama. As a realtor, Mr. Flounlacker worked mostly with commercial clients. He has assisted corporations in acquiring office leases, worked with developers in land acquisition efforts and has represented both sellers and buyers of land. He was also instrumental in the sale of over 1200 acres of land to be used as a wetlands mitigation bank. Mr. Flounlacker has completed hours of intensive transactional real estate legal studies, as a requirement for writing title insurance for Attorney's Title Insurance Fund, Inc. (The Fund), the leading title insurance underwriter in Florida.
