Donny E. Brand is a partner at Brand & Spellman, PC, where he practices Bankruptcy Law. He is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Orange County Bankruptcy Forum.

Mr. Brand received his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. While in law school, Mr. Brand served as a staff member and editor on the Loyola Law Review. He also served as an extern at the Affordable Bankruptcy Center at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles and as a Judicial Extern for the Superior Court of California, Los Angeles.

Prior to starting Brand & Spellman with partner Alex K. Spellman, Mr. Brand worked for a national bankruptcy law firm before deciding to serve his clients in a smaller, more personalized environment. Mr. Brand also performs pro bono legal services for Public Counsels’ Debtors Assistance Project.

Mr. Brand is licensed to practice in the State of California, and in the United States District Court, Central District of California. In addition to his passion for the law, Mr. Brand is an instrument-rated private pilot.
