Law Firm Overview

Rosemarie Mc Elhaney has been a practicing attorney/mediator serving the Southern California area for over twenty years with offices in Anaheim Hills and Irvine. With an undergraduate degree in psychology, a doctorate in law and over a three thousand hours of training in collaboration, mediation, psychology, and communication skills, Rosemarie has limited her practice to collaborative divorce law and mediation where she facilitates settlements without court intervention.

Her experience includes work as an Administrative Law Judge, Judge Pro Tempore, Adjunct Law School Instructor, Negotiator, Court Mediator, Trainer, Mediator and Mediation Program Director.  She co-founded Collaborative Divorce Solutions of Orange County and the Redwood Empire Juvenile Victim Offender Mediation Program.  She served as Director of the Redwood Empire Community Mediation Center where she was also a mediator and mediation trainer.  She has served on the Board of Directors for the Redwood Empire Mediation Center, Mariposa Women's Community Center and Collaborative Divorce Solutions of Orange County where she was also founding President Elect.  She is a delegate to Collaborative Practice California and has participated as a presenter for their annual conferences.  Rosemarie received the County Bar Association Award for outstanding community contribution in the area of Alternative
Dispute Resolution

Rosemarie is zealous about the expanding collaborative and mediation movement.  She consistently volunteers her time contributing to local, state and national organizations which promote collaborative solutions and participates frequently in conferences, committees, lectures and advanced trainings. 

Her memberships include SCMA, Mediate.com, Association for Conflict Resolution, Mediators Without Borders, World Jurist Association, International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, LACFLA, Collaborative Divorce Solutions of Orange County, Collaborative Practice California, California State Bar Association, and Orange County Bar Association.
