The primary goal of Patricia Bone O'Neill, Attorney at Law is to provide compassionate, responsive legal representation. Those seeking legal counsel, generally, and especially in the area of family law, are hurting emotionally. Based on personal experience, Patricia knows the heartbreak and pain that accompanies difficult times, whether it be a divorce or helping an elderly parent who cannot take care of him/herself. Our goal is to help our clients get through this difficult time with as little stress as possible.

Another goal of the law firm is to provide quality legal services at a reasonable cost for medium income people. Most people do not budget for a divorce, or a child custody issue, or for a parent with a debilitating illness or dementia. Nevertheless, these contingencies occur. The firm's goal is to offer competent legal services to those suffering these unfortunate events without causing further distress by charging exorbitant legal fees.

The firm promises to perform legal services in a competent and ethical manner. The firm focuses primarily on the practice of family law, including, but not limited to, dissolutions of marriage, paternity actions, child custody and support, domestic violence restraining orders, stepparent adoptions. The firm will also handle probate guardianships and conservatorships. Should clients require legal assistance in other areas of the law, such as estate planning, unlawful detainers, and other civil litigation matters, the firm may provide services in those areas on an limited basis.

As another area of focus, Ms. O'Neill serves as a mediator in a variety of matters. She has taken several courses in conflict resolution and has been able to implement her knowledge in volunteering as a settlement conference judge for the Fresno County Superior Court, Civil Division. She has served as a mediator in several dissolution of marriage actions and as an arbitrator in attorney-client fee agreements.
