While attending law school, Dr. Lyubchenko was a summer associate at Foley & Lardner, and for the National Company KazMunayGas in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Previously, she worked as a legal advisor for Qaraghandy-Power Ltd. in the Republic of Kazakhstan. She also has experience working as a translator for the City Center for Primal Medical & Sanitary Aid Ltd. in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Dr. Lyubchenko earned her LL.M. from the University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law (2004). She received her LL.B. from the State University of Qaraghandy School of Law (with honors, 2001), where she graduated first in her class, and her B.A. from Lingua University. Dr. Lyubchenko graduated with her J.S.D. from the University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law (2008). The topic of her doctoral dissertation was "Production Sharing Agreements in the Oil and Gas Industry of Russia and Kazakhstan."

Dr. Lyubchenko is admitted to practice in Washington D.C. and the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Dr. Lyubchenko is fluent in Russian, English, and has a reading knowledge of Spanish and Kazakh.
