The Brownstein Law Firm is a smaller, boutique law firm dedicated to the representation of those who are injured due to the negligence of others. For the past seventeen (17) years, Lawrence Brownstein has specialized in the areas of serious personal injury and wrongful death arising from motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, fall down accidents and products liability causes at the state and federal trial and appellate court levels. He has specifically chosen to maintain a smaller sized law firm so that he can continue to provide direct, personalized service to his clients rather than placing a client's case with young, inexperienced attorneys, secretaries or paralegals as many larger law firms do as a result of the volume of cases that they handle.

In addition to serious personal injury causes, Mr. Brownstein also specializes in divorce related matters. The addition of divorce/family law cases came as a direct result of the firm's former personal injury clients who wanted Mr. Brownstein to represent them in divorce and postdivorce modification matters. Mr.Brownstein has significant experience in handling all aspects of divorce and post divorce cases including child custody and support, alimony, property settlements, and modification proceedings. He also works with experts such as accountants, business valuators and occupational/vocational experts where required in family law cases at the client's authorization. Serious personal injuryand divorce related causes are the only areas of law in which Mr.Brownstein practices.

Lawrence E. Brownstein, Esquire received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1988 from the University of Miami School of Law; Master of Science degree in Engineering Management and Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Northeastern University and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, respectively. He worked as an engineer for six (6) years prior to attending law school. Mr. Brownstein's background in engineering is particularly helpful in accident investigation and reconstruction and where engineering and technical principles are relevant. Mr. Brownstein is a member of the Florida Bar; U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida; U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit; Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers; Palm Beach County Trial Lawyers Association; Palm Beach County Bar Association. He is also a Traffic Court Magistrate for the 15th Judicial Circuit in and for Palm Beach County, Florida.
