Lawyer Overview

Claire joined Jones Day's Shanghai Office in 2003. Since that time she has advised multinational clients on projects involving antitrust, venture capital, transnational and cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and foreign direct investments (FDI) as well as on issues covering labor, foreign exchange, and intellectual property.

Claire has worked on several antitrust filings with the MOFCOM and the SAIC on behalf of Fortune 500 clients. She was a member of the team that worked on a major cross-border real estate acquisition deal in 2006. She was also on the team that advised a Fortune 500 tire and rubber manufacturer on its US$200 million investment projects in China.

Claire is fluent in English and is a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese and Shanghainese.
