Paul Bromfield is experienced in the full range of international and domestic restructuring and insolvency matters. He has advised creditors and distressed corporates in large cross-border restructurings and has extensive experience in cross-border and domestic-based formal insolvencies. His clients include financial institutions, investors, insolvency practitioners, and corporates.

Paul's experience includes acting for the bank syndicate in relation to West Ham United FC, the lead lending bank in relation to Portsmouth FC, the senior creditor in the restructuring of Leicester City FC out of administration, the administrators of the European Enron entities, and acting company side in the Ennstone plc restructuring, which was implemented using a prepack administration in relation to a main market-listed entity.

Paul lectures on a variety of topics, with a special interest in the insolvency jurisdiction of the English courts, the use of prepackaged transactions as a means of acquiring distressed businesses, and the use of contingency planning in restructurings.
