Lawyer Overview
Tom's practice focuses primarily on employment discrimination. He has experience representing management in single plaintiff and putative class action disputes, including litigation brought under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act. Tom also counsels clients on a variety of employment-related matters, such as compensation practices, covenants not to compete, and compliance with federal and state antidiscrimination laws.
In addition, Tom maintains an active pro bono practice. He has been involved extensively with the Firm's efforts to protect tenants' rights and promote affordable and safe housing in the District of Columbia.
