Lawyer Overview

Stephanie Taylor focuses her practice on general civil litigation and products liability. Her experience includes case management, discovery, drafting various pleadings and motions, and appellate briefing. She also has overseen and monitored several individual product liability actions pending in federal and state courts across the country. In addition, Stephanie has been closely involved in defending product liability actions throughout Canada, including a class action proceeding.

Following law school, Stephanie clerked on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. During this time she worked on a variety of legal issues ranging from First Amendment and other constitutional challenges, general civil litigation, employment law, immigration law, and criminal law.

Stephanie is active in pro bono matters, including successfully appealing a prisoner's § 1983 claims to the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. She is a member of the West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Allegheny County, and Third Circuit Bar Associations. She is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Commission on Women in the Profession.

Stephanie currently serves as an adjunct lecturer at the West Virginia University College of Law, where she teaches a mandatory appellate advocacy course for second- and third-year law students.
