Lawyer Overview

Christine Kang's practice focuses on international commercial dispute resolution, including international commercial arbitration, ADR, and litigation. She has significant experience handling international and domestic arbitration cases with the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) and the Beijing Arbitration Commission (BAC). She also frequently conducts arbitration with the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Court), and the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC Institute). In addition, she is very familiar with Chinese and international trade and investment laws and conventions and principles.

Christine is currently a listed arbitrator on the Panel of Arbitrators of the CIETAC and the HKIAC. She is also on the List of Mediators of the International Mediation Centre of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT Mediation Centre). Christine has acted as chief arbitrator, sole arbitrator, party-nominated arbitrator, and counsel in hundreds of cases involving contracts of international sales of goods, technology transfer, leasing, construction, insurance, joint ventures, cooperative contracts, and share transfers.

Christine is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) and a member of the Association of Arbitralwomen (France) and the HKIAC Users' Council (Hong Kong).
