Lawyer Overview

Meg Gleason gained valuable trial court experience while serving for two years as a law clerk in federal district court. In that capacity, she became familiar with federal civil and criminal procedure and many substantive areas of law, including class action litigation, complex commercial disputes, employment litigation, and constitutional law.

Meg was appointed in 2007 to serve on the Local Rules Committee for the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. She also serves on the subcommittee for revisions to Local Rule 23 (class actions). In addition, she is an associate member of the W. Edward Sell American Inn of Court and serves on the board of governors for the Yale Club of Pittsburgh.

Prior to attending law school, Meg lived in the United Kingdom for three years while studying at Oxford University on a Rhodes Scholarship.
