Lawyer Overview

Andy practices in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and foreign direct investments. Prior to joining Jones Day, he worked at a U.K. law firm in Beijing where he advised many foreign companies on setting up businesses in China as well as transforming joint ventures into wholly foreign-owned enterprises involving state-owned assets. Andy also counseled clients in matters relating to real estate investments, labor, pollution control, foreign exchange, foreign trade, and commercial distribution. In addition, he has advised telecom operators regarding online gaming and Internet services from the Chinese law perspective.

Andy is fluent in Chinese and English.
