Lawyer Overview

Michael's practice focuses on general corporate and business matters as well as patent and cross-border litigation. Recently, he assisted in a patent litigation involving a major petrochemical corporation that resulted in the highest indemnity claim ever in Taiwan.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Michael served as a judicial clerk at the Taiwan Supreme Administrative Court where he assisted on intellectual property right and corporate tax cases. In addition, he interned at a boutique firm in Taipei where he gained experience on foreign investment, contract review, and analysis of legal issues. During law school, Michael worked as a research assistant, researching constitutional law and European Union law, and also studied in Berlin, Germany on an exchange scholarship program.

Michael is a member of Taipei Bar Association.
