April's practice involves the defense of employers against individual and collective actions raising employment discrimination, employee benefits, and wage and hour claims under Title VII, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and state law. April's experience includes fact investigation, written discovery, and depositions, as well as researching and drafting dispositive motions, discovery motions, and motions related to collective action certification.

April is a member of the American Bar Association and the Allegheny County Bar Association.
