He also advises creditors in insolvency actions. In addition, Alexander regularly advises clients on distressed asset transactions and mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Alexander worked in one of the leading banks in Riga, Latvia and for another international law firm in Germany where he advised on financial, credit, and energy derivatives and on acquisition financing and syndicated lending.
