Megan Fu specializes in China tax matters. She has substantial experience in the tax aspects of foreign investment in China and domestic and international mergers & acquisitions. She provides tax and business advisory services to international companies in China in a wide range of industries, including banking, mining, utilities, power, construction, consumer, and general manufacturing.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Megan was a tax manager at an international accounting firm. Her experience includes pre-investment, enterprise income tax, business tax, and value-added tax consultation as well as executive income tax planning. Megan is an experienced tax negotiator. She is familiar with tax authorities in various Chinese cities and counties and assists clients in discussing and negotiating with China's tax authorities in clarifying tax treatments, tax assessments, and tax audits.

Megan also has experience in structuring and implementing foreign investments in China and has assisted multinational corporations in setting up joint ventures and wholly foreign-owned enterprises in China.
