All three attorneys came to Allen & Allen LLP from the former law offices of Bachan, Skillicorn & Marinovich, a longstanding Pajaro Valley firm that served the interests of the community for over fifty years before its dissolution in 2006. P.W. Bachan, one of the founding partners of Bachan, Skillicorn & Marinovich, was born and raised in Watsonville. Mr. Bachan serves of counsel to Allen & Allen LLP and brings with him his vast legal experience, especially in the fields of estate planning and probate practice, as well as his profound relationship with the Pajaro Valley and its people.

Richard H. Allen, before working for over a decade of counsel to Bachan, Skillicorn & Marinovich, was for over two decades a partner of Wyckoff, Parker, Boyle & Pope, another former pillar of the Watsonville legal practice. Dick brings with him over thirty-five years of experience working for the interests of his clients from all over Santa Cruz County and especially the Pajaro Valley in a wide range of practice areas, including estate planning, probate, land use, real estate, and many legal aspects involved in agriculture. Dick has an outstanding reputation among his peers in the legal profession and judiciary, as reflected in his highest rating ("AV") in Martindale-Hubble's attorney directory.

Rob Allen, also born and raised locally, comes to Allen & Allen LLP following in the large footsteps of P.W. Bachan and his father, Richard H. Allen, and continues to benefit from their eighty-plus years of combined experience serving the legal needs of the members of this community. Rob also brings the additional capacity to conduct business in both English and Spanish, enhancing the firm's ability to serve the ever-growing Spanish-speaking community of Watsonville, other South Santa Cruz County communities such as Capitola, Soquel, and Aplos, the North Monterey County communities such as Pajaro, Aromas, Prunedale, Castroville, Salinas and Marina, the Southwestern portions of Santa Clara County such as Gilroy and Morgan Hill, as well as the Western portions of San Benito County such as Hollister and San Juan Baulista.

Between his years at Bachan, Skillicorn & Marinovich and at Allen & Allen LLP, Rob has successfully prosecuted a variety of court actions in all four of these counties, in addition to others around California.
