Locations within which I primarily practice: All of Houston and its contiguous counties, including Ft. Bend, Montgomery, Brazoria, Liberty, Chambers, Wharton, and Galveston; however, I will travel to other counties if the need arises.

Katie L. Cowart was born in Beaufort, South Carolina in 1976 and moved to Houston in 2002. She attended Bluefield College, in Bluefield, Virginia where she received her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice in 1998. Mrs. Cowart received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in 2005 and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas that same year. While at South Texas, Mrs. Cowart was a member of the Varsity Mock Trial and Varsity Moot Court teams. Mrs. Cowart received the Best Brief Award at the J. Braxton Craven National Moot Court Tournament in 2004. Further, Mrs. Cowart received a top five speaker award at the South Texas College of Law Intramural Mock Trial Tournament in 2003. She is a member of the Houston Young Lawyers Association. Mrs. Cowart practices primarily in the area of general litigation.
