Practice

Mr. Hare’s practice focuses on securities regulatory investigations, examinations and actions; and internal corporate investigations. He has represented major investment banks, public companies, hedge funds and individuals in a wide range of matters before the US Securities and Exchange Commission, securities self regulatory organizations and state securities enforcement authorities.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hare was a senior regional attorney in the Department of Enforcement for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), where he investigated violations of FINRA rules and federal securities laws and represented the Department of Enforcement in disciplinary hearings. Mr. Hare also served as an assistant district attorney in the trial division of the New York County District Attorney’s Office, and the Special Investigations Bureau for the Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor.
