Matt is an associate in the firm of Briggs and Morgan, Professional Association. He is based in our Minneapolis office and is a member of the Business Litigation Section, where he practices principally in the area of civil litigation.

Matt is admitted to practice in Minnesota. Prior to joining Briggs, he worked for Northwest Airlines as both a financial analyst and industrial engineer. 

Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, Matt received a B.S. in finance and international business from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He received his J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School, where he was a member of staff for the Minnesota Journal of Law, Science and Technology. As part of his law school education, Matt traveled abroad to the Netherlands to study international law in the master’s program at Tilburg University. He joined Briggs in 2006.
