She received her J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School, where she served as note and comment/research editor for the Minnesota Law Review . After finishing law school, Cathy was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Bruce D. Willis in the Minnesota Court of Appeals. Cathy joined Briggs in 2006.
