While in law school, Ms. Chitre served as an Editor of the Boston University Law Review. During her first year of law school, she interned with the legal division of Fidelity Investments, where she worked on Social Security and retirement issues.

Prior to beginning her legal studies, Ms. Chitre was a senior strategic communications specialist with FleetBoston Financial, where she also previously worked as a corporate banking analyst.

Professional Activities

Ms. Chitre serves on the Board of Directors of the South Asian Bar Association.  In addition, Ms. Chitre is a member of The Indus Entrepreneur (TiE-Boston) and has also served as communications director, social chair and national conference marketing chair for the Network of South Asian Professionals (Net-SAP Boston) professional organization.
