Lawyer Overview

Benjamin B. Folsom is an associate at Foley & Lardner, where he is a member of the General Commercial Litigation Practice.

Previously, Mr. Folsom participated in Foley's summer associate program. He also gained extensive experience as a research assistant at the University of Iowa College of Law's legal clinic and as a paralegal managing cases at an immigration law firm.

Mr. Folsom received his law degree, with high distinction, from the University of Iowa College of Law (J.D., 2007), where he was an articles editor for the Iowa Law Review, and was elected to the Order of the Coif. He received his bachelor's degree, cum laude, from Macalester College (B.A., 1999).

Mr. Folsom's community activities have included volunteering for the Iowa Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Iowa Legal Aid, and the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota.

Mr. Folsom is admitted to practice in Illinois.
