Scott Aberson is a partner in Maslon's Litigation Group. He represents major manufacturers, financial institutions, business entities, and individuals in complex commercial disputes in the areas of tort and product liability, business torts and breach of contract actions, business ownership and governance disputes, and intellectual property litigation. Scott has successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants in multiple state and federal courts across the country.

Scott has authored articles on issues relating to tort and product liability law, including a note on the issue of medical monitoring, which has been cited by state appellate courts in Oregon and North Carolina, as well as in dozens of other publications and briefs. Scott graduated magna cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law in 2006, where he was a member of the William Mitchell Law Review and represented William Mitchell in the New York Bar Association's National Moot Court Competition. He graduated cum laude from Augustana College in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Affairs and a minor in Chemistry. Prior to joining Maslon, Scott clerked for the Honorable Jill Flaskamp Halbrooks of the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
