Ms. Lewis graduated with a J.D. degree from the University of Utah, where she was the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Land, Resources & Environmental Law, recipient of the Robert W. Swenson Fellowship in Natural Resources Law and the recipient of the Robert Schmid Natural Resources Writing Award for her paper "Responding Locally to Climate Change: The Ski Industry's Grassroots Movement to Combat a Global Problem." She was a member of the National Environmental Moot Court Team and was awarded Best Oral Advocate in the National Competition at Pace University. Ms. Lewis received a B.A. degree in history, summa cum laude, from Colorado State University in 2001, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
