Katherine Lewis is a member of Parsons Behle & Latimer's Real Estate, Banking & Finance department. She assists clients with real property and corporate transactions, including document preparation and title and survey review.

Ms. Lewis has experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements and project development agreements including: annexation agreements, wind energy real property agreements, development agreements, easements, licenses and covenants, conditions and restrictions, commercial leases, legal opinions, and corporate organizational documents. She also represents clients before municipal and county land use and planning boards for permitting and land use approvals.  Her experience includes representing wind energy and geothermal developers in due diligence, permitting, land use, real estate document drafting and negotiation, and financing of renewable energy projects.

Ms. Lewis graduated with a J.D. degree from the University of Utah, where she was the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Land, Resources & Environmental Law, recipient of the Robert W. Swenson Fellowship in Natural Resources Law and the recipient of the Robert Schmid Natural Resources Writing Award for her paper "Responding Locally to Climate Change: The Ski Industry's Grassroots Movement to Combat a Global Problem." She was a member of the National Environmental Moot Court Team and was awarded Best Oral Advocate in the National Competition at Pace University. Ms. Lewis received a B.A. degree in history, summa cum laude, from Colorado State University in 2001, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
