Lawyer Overview

Jeffrey Makovicka joined Woods & Aitken in 2005, concentrating his practice in the areas of commercial litigation and construction law. He is currently in the process of adding transactional law to his areas of expertise. In addition to his practice, Jeffrey has conducted client seminars on construction liens, loan documentation, the Uniform Commercial Code, and Lender Liability.

Prior to attending law school, Jeffrey was a vice-president at a large Nebraska family-owned bank where he led the bank's securities services for greater Nebraska. After law school, he served as an extern law clerk to the Honorable William J. Riley and to the Honorable C. Arlen Beam of the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
