Initial Free Consultation / Competitive Fees

For bankruptcy, personal injury, worker's compensation and many other practice areas a free initial consultation is available. Our fees for a basic consumer bankruptcy start at $700.00. Our policy for our personal injury cases is that there is no fee unless a recovery is made. If a recovery is made, our percentage is 1/3 of the amount recovered. For workers’ compensation claims we generally charge 20% of amount recovered. General litigation such as contract disputes is charged at an hourly rate. We accept all major credit cards for any type of case except bankruptcy.

As with any law firm, clients are responsible for costs. Generally costs are minimal unless a lawsuit is filed.

February, 2009 - Pels Anderson, LLC is pleased to announce that Jennifer O. Schiffer has been hired as an Associate at the
firm. Prior to joining Pels Anderson, Ms. Schiffer was an associate in the Commercial Real Estate group of Reed Smith LLP in Falls Church, Virginia. Ms. Schiffer obtained her B.A., cum laude, from Vanderbilt University (2003) and her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School (2006). .
