At the same time she began managing a real estate development company in St. Charles, Illinois. In September of 1996, Ms. Adkins joined her husband in establishing their own law firm and she also became associated as of counsel with the estate and trust law firm of Huck & Brisske in Wheaton. In 2000 she joined Huck Bouma and resides with her family in Wheaton, Illinois.
