Lawyer Overview

Kristopher Armstrong has a varied practice, encompassing employment litigation and counseling, general litigation and intellectual property litigation and enforcement.

Mr. Armstrong has been involved in litigation at the trial, appellate and state supreme court levels. In addition, he has experience with litigation of contested issues before administrative agencies including cancellations and oppositions before the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board, as well as protests over dealer terminations and relocations before the Ohio Motor Vehicle Dealers' Board. He also has experience working on labor arbitrations involving employee grievances and contract interpretation issues.

In addition to his work as a litigator, Mr. Armstrong has experience counseling clients regarding compliance with state and federal anti-discrimination laws, wage and hour issues, Ohio ethics laws governing public officials and various state laws governing responses to breaches of data privacy.

After beginning his career as a summer associate with Baker Hostetler, Mr. Armstrong spent two years as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable David A. Katz of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

During law school, Mr. Armstrong was a Managing Editor of the Ohio State Law Journal. He was the recipient of the Strong Award for Legal Writing, 2nd Place, and earned CALI Awards for Excellence in Professional Responsibility, Employment Discrimination, Property and Legal Writing. He is a member of the Order of the Coif, the American Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association.
