Lawyer Overview

Andrew M. Fisher practices in the real estate area with an emphasis on the hotel, condominium, resort, timeshare, restaurant and related areas of the hospitality industry. As a member of the firm’s Hospitality Industry Team, Mr. Fisher actively works on the acquisition and development of hotels and restaurants, condominium formation, vacation ownership projects and clubs, Interstate Land Sales Act and state filings, advertising, general real estate, and other related matters.

Prior to working at Baker Hostetler, Mr. Fisher practiced commercial litigation, general business, real estate and local government law. Mr. Fisher also spent several years as an active real estate broker.

Mr. Fisher has a broad range of experience in the restaurant industry including nine years with a national restaurant chain as a regional director and three years as a restaurant owner/operator. Mr. Fisher is an adjunct professor at the University of Central Florida, Rosen College of Hospitality Management, teaching Restaurant Law, and he has contributed to several articles in Hotel Motel Management Magazine.

Mr. Fisher is a member of the Florida, New York and New Jersey Bar Associations, American Bar Association (Forum Committee on Franchising, Business Law Section) and Orange County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Rotary Club of Orlando, Central Florida Hotel and Lodging Association (Timeshare Council and Political Action Committee), Orlando Regional Realtor Association, Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association, Central Florida Chapter (Board Member), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and Northern Florida (Board Member).
