She authored Senate Bill 454, authorizing the creation of 503(g) trusts for the physical/mental health of minor children, and "New Article IX: Child Custody Proceedings," ISBA Family Law Newsletter (Volume 49, No. 9), a reference guide for custody litigation. Appointed to the ISBA Family Law Section Council, she chaired the Child Support Subcommittee and spearheaded a major revision of Illinois child support laws.
