We handle acute injuries, cumulative trauma injuries, occupational diseases (such as carpal tunnel) through all aspects of the claim or at any stage of the claim. We handle allowance issues, treatment issues, VSSR, disability issues and appeals to court.
Real Estate - Contract drafting and review for the purchase and sale of residential or commercial real estate. Drafting and review of leases for residential or commercial real estate. We assist with probate avoidance techniques including intervivos or living trusts and AB marital trusts. We draft at drastically reduced rates all probate-related documents including Last Will and Testament, Living Will, Durable Power of Attorney for Healthcare and General Durable Power of Attorney.
Bankruptcy - We will assist with credit counseling, preparation of all bankruptcy forms and schedules for Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy. We represent individuals before the Federal Bankruptcy Court and Bankruptcy Trustee.
Small Business Representation - We represent both start-up businesses and the going concern providing advice and services on: corporate structure, incorporation, limited liability corporations (LLC’s), partnership agreements, shareholder agreements, buy/sell agreements, employment and employee termination matters, workers' compensation, debt collection, contracts, leases and all types of commercial and business litigation.
Social Security Disability (SSD) - Social Security pays benefits to people who cannot work because they have a medical condition that is expected to last at least one year or result in death. We advise and represent clients seeking disability benefits and will handle your case through administrative appeals to your hearing before an administrative law judge (ALJ). Attorney fees are regulated by Social Security. Fees are contingent upon success, so you must be awarded benefits for the attorney to be paid.
Civil Rights - Both the US Constitution and Ohio Constitution as well as state and federal statutes provide citizens with certain rights that, when violated, create a cause of action. Specifically, you are protected from discrimination if it is based upon your race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, age, ancestry or familial status. We represent individuals claiming civil rights violations before the Ohio Civil Rights Commission (OCRC) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
Injury - When injured by the negligent actions of another, a victim may recover the cost of medical treatment, lost wages, pain and suffering, and future damages if warranted. Typically, personal injury claims arise out of motor vehicle accidents. However, they may also arise as a result of injuries occurring on the premises of another, through slip and fall, dog bite, or other dangerous condition. Responsible people carry insurance to protect against their own negligent acts and the negligence of others. So in the case of a motor vehicle accident, the negligent party's insurance pays your claim. If the negligent party doesn't have insurance, then you may make a claim against your own "uninsured motorist" coverage. Ohio law prohibits an insurance company from raising rates due to an uninsured motorist claim. Product liability claims can be made against manufacturers when their product causes injury or death. Attorney fees for personal injury cases are a percentage of the amount recovered, so you pay no attorney fee unless you get paid. We handle all types of injury claims from auto accidents to premises liability to product liability.
General Civil Litigation - We handle a variety of civil litigation for our clients in addition to the matters outlined above, including but not limited to wrongful termination, temporary restraining orders, injunctions and other matters.
